Today is the birthday of my lovely friend Bridget, who passed away this spring after a courageous battle with cancer. I'm thankful for the chance to have dinner with her sweet husband, who lives in Portland but is coming through Madison, and friends tonight at one of Bridget's favorite restaurants.

So sorry to hear about your friend, I don't think I even knew this! Is she the one you had the garage sale for? I think it's great you're able to spend some time with her husband. And for the inside job, wool socks, tea and Karl, of course!
