July Give-Away

For our wedding, we got a fantastic garlic press. I love it so much that I want you to have one, too! It's a brand new Pampered Chef press, ready to smash all of your garlic cloves.

To enter, leave a post or send me an email telling me your favorite dish that involves garlic.

Enter by the end of the week (7/16); I'll draw a winner this weekend. Good luck!

Keller called me the other night in a total rager because a recipe (yes..I know and believe me it was Keller on the phone)called for five cloves of pressed garlic and she wanted to know if she could chop it. SHE NEEDS THIS PRESS.

roast garlic barley soup--it calls for a HEAD of garlic :) Oh, man is it delicious, and oh man is your breath delicious afterward!

Well, I'm just learning to cook with garlic now because my dad refused to eat it! I think my favorite garlic dish so far is either a) cheese fondue or b) green beans, garlic and pine nuts. Yum!

My favorite dish with garlic is Gardetto's Snack Mix. I'm pretty sure they use dried garlic in the recipe, though. I tried to make Bold Chex Mix once, another fave, and it called for dried. Not exactly something I'd need the garlic press for, but thought I'd answer your question anyway. =)

I really like garlic bread.

In other garlic-related news, one time before we were married, Michael tried to make a spaghetti dinner for me, complete with home-made sauce. The recipe called for three cloves of garlic, but he misunderstood and used three bulbs of garlic. That was a lot of garlic. I did not have seconds of that dish.
