Well, I figured that:
1. The first July give-away was a little bit limited, since a lot of people already have garlic presses.
2. These two books are summery, and I didn't want to wait until August to give them away.

Oh wow! I love Cynthia Rylant books and I really enjoy Nikki's artwork.
I think my favorite childhood book would be a toss-up of "The ox-cart man" and "Miss Rumphius" Both illustrated by Barbara Clooney. (My mom was a big fan of her work.)

My favorite childrens' book:
There's a Monster at the End of this Book. It was the first book I read with a "twist" ending where I actually guessed the twist. Spoiler alert: Grover is the monster. Hee.
